Description

Our Sylvaner wines have been named by acclaimed UK Wine Journalist Mr Tom Stevenson as the "best I have ever tasted". A huge accolade for our family winery and one we are most proud of.

Grape Variety

Sylvaner

Region

Ballandean, Granite Belt, Queensland (100%)

Tasting Notes

Our aged Sylvaner is delicious and exhibits the aged characters of an old riesling which is the sister variety to our Sylvaner. You can expect kerosene on the bouquet intermingled with honey and marmalade and the palate is luscious, rich and viscous. You will taste honey, melons and raisens with a delicate acid finish.

Cellaring Potential

Up to 12 years

Suggested Foods

Serve this wine with a cheese platter of Brie, Camembert or blue cheeses. Finish off with dried muscatels or figs.
For the sweet tooth, this wine is magnificent with a Creme Brulee.
